Love is where Alone goes when
it gathers its optimism,
feels buoyant again –
able to try, to give, to compromise,
put perfection aside
as well as words from the wise;
to be in a state of Imperfect Bliss –
or to dare the Together Adventure
of searching for this.

Another love poem as we approach Valentine’s Day… be loving, be happy!

Thank you so much, Deanne. Thank you for stopping by. I hope all is well with you, and under your sky … all the rainy but beautiful sky photos over at your place today! (I’m with you, I have a thing for the sky and clouds, and rain too. Love them : )
Wishing you peace and love,

Yes, it does. But, we are courageous : ) Btw, I found that Austen youtube series – I remembered I’d seen the first couple of episodes when it first was out (ha, so cute!!) but forgot to go back or else got busy, so thank you so much! I don’t have time to binge watch it in its entirety (no snow days) but I’ve laughed through a few episodes by now : )) Wonderful how applicable and relevant Austen still is! I hope your week is happy!

making “alone,” which is a state of being, into something human that can have optimism is very
cool. i also appreciate the realism here, that love is always imperfect and full of compromise. perhaps that is why it astonishes us that love can even exist.

Thank you very much for appreciating the personification and realism. And I like your theory; we humans are incredible in many ways, ditto for love.
